Grandmaster Alexandra Kosteniuk was a guest of honor at the 57th Russian Chess Superfinals in Moscow

These photos were taken in November 2004, in Moscow, during the 57th Superfinal Russian Championship, which Kasparov won convincingly. You will find photos of the players, and of the opening and closing ceremonies.

The Superfinal took place at the Vasilievsky restaurant in the Rossia Hotel, right across from the Red Square The official logo of the Russian Chess Federation Just before the opening ceremony, a photographer from Marie-Claire was working with Alexandra, for an article on Alexandra and chess
